Or maybe there will be a simple voting system so anyone can ask for a save.Ībout achievements, I'll probably disable all of them in multiplayer Maybe the first player to join the server is named as the host and control things. And you'll be able to change team to fight but with the map size limits, it probably won't be really playable as ennemies for the whole game.Ībout saving (and quitting, etc.), i'm not yet sure how that will work. Multiplayer "main purpose" will be to play coop between friends, to play the normal game until its end. Then the player will be able to join its own server, and its friends or other people also (using the steam interface). Even if the game did keep track of both players it would still be so much easier will multiple people. You could have a friend craft and defend for you. The ones for surviving the first night on brutal without crafting or shooting for example. What about achievements, some could totally break in multiplayer.

Will the other player keep going? Will they be forced to reset? When one resets what happens to the other one? Saving and loading is quite a big deal and with two people who would have the power? Would both have it? Would the person owning the server have it? Would the most determined one have it? (I had to make a undertale reference since saving and loading, sorry.)Īnother question is what happens when one dies. So I had never really thought about multiplayer until today and thought about how it would work.
